Support Request: Screensaver causes problems

Description

Maybe I am just missing the obvious but I am building a couple of kiosks for my company and demoing the software. I plan on purchasing soon but I have a problem. When the site kiosk screen saver settings kick in the only thing that happens is it dumps me to Site Kiosk Secured Desktop screen (White screen With the safe image) and nothing I do brings the start screen back up unless I shut down site kiosk and re-open it. I have gone though all the settings and everything is set properly. In this case the check box that says to go back to start Screen upon moving the mouse or hitting the keyboard is checked so I thought that was it. It wasn't.

Thanks!

OK just noticed another problem. You can <ctrl> <alt> <del> as well. It is not blocking the keystroke combo. Is this because it is a demo version?
Re: Screensaver causes problems <Ctrl> <alt> <del> not locked out 9/24/2015 10:25 PM
Oh and I forgot, I have tested this with the locked down sitekiosk user as well, the ctrl alt del is missing most of the items but the users can still log off and log in as another user which is what I am trying to prevent.

What is your OS and IE version?

What did you choose as your screensaver? It sounds like there are other issues going since Ctrl+Alt+Del should still be blocked with the trial version. It should be blocked in both Start Once and Autostart Mode.

What do you see in the SiteKiosk log file after the screensaver issue? Is there anything in the Windows event log? You could try doing a complete uninstall then reinstall to see if that resolves the issue. To do this, find SiteKiosk in the Windows control panel list of programs and choose Change instead of Uninstall then select the Remove option. On the next box check the box to automatically remove all created data. After that is finish reboot Windows then reinstall SiteKiosk.

Windows 7 completely updated. Latest IE
I can find nothing in the logs indicating anything is going wrong. I am wondering if it just isn't going back to the main screen because it is not a purchased version.

Oh and already uninstalled and reinstalled completely. Same issue. I am trying a couple of other things now.
