Support Request: Sitekiosk breaks SAP Business Objects 3.1

Description

Hi there!

I am having trouble testing CrystalReports from SAP. Essentially, when I try to run a report within Sitekiosk, CrystalReport returns an on-screen error saying "Invalid Report". Sounded like application side issue to me at first, but ran the report on the same machine in several other browsers, and it worked.

I additionally ran it in the Sitekiosk tester browser found here:
http://www.sitekiosk.com/en-US/CustomerSupportCenter/ArticleDetails.aspx?ArticleID=18425#

and it also functioned.

I am unsure what the issue is, as the logfile seems to return no errors.

The last 20 or so lines in the log are my latest attempt at running this report- the last 3 requests before I bring up the "Close Sitekiosk" dialog are the requests that should contain the report data.

I have created a completely blank new config, and the issue remains. Hopefully there is something we can do to resolve this. I have tried v9 beta, and the issue remains as well, but not in the Chrome based web browser. Unfortunately none of the Chrome themes match my need for a very friendly and limited big button interface like on v8, so I cannot recreate the whole config in the Chrome format.

First make sure that the SiteKiosk is not added to the user agent header. To do this go to >Basic >Start Page & Browser and uncheck 'Add "SiteKiosk" to user agent header'. This option is uncheck by default in the current version.

If that is already unchecked it is possible the issue has to do with compatibility view settings.

To check which IE version / compatibility view is necessary for using the web page you can open the web page in internet explorer and then press F12.
At the right of the Developer Tool windows you will see which compatibility view mode is activated when using the web page with the IE. Please advise what you see there and I will send you the procedure to update this in SiteKiosk.

Which IE version and OS do you currently have installed?

Hi there!

For the sake of helping anyone else that comes along, we are running IE 11 on Windows 8.1 Professional in our testbed.

The suggestion to ensure SiteKiosk is not added to the user agent header was successful.

Thank you for the help.
