Support Request: Installation fails

Description

A previous installation of SiteKiosk 8.xx was corrupted on a Windows 8 host. There are no hardware related issues with this host, however we suspect that an upgrade from Windows 8 to 8.1 could have played a roll in this scenario.

This previous installation does no longer appear in the Uninstall Programs list and from its small set of remaining subdirectories in the SiteKiosk root folder seems to be fatally interfering with our attempts to wipe it clean off and install SiteKiosk 8 afresh. No matter what we do, the SiteKiosk 8 installation proceeds for 2 minutes, then indicates it is interrupted, then rolls back. I attach the log from our last installation attempt.

The host has since been upgraded to Windows 10 but the issue still persists.

Are there specific registry keys or files we can remove from our host to enable an uninterrupted SiteKiosk 8 installation?

Hello,

I will contact you via e-mail for a description about how to clean up the SiteKiosk installation and making a new installation with log.

General notes:
Windows 10 has been published after SiteKiosk 8.91 and therefore Windows 10 is not officially supported with SiteKiosk 8.91.

The next SiteKiosk version (SiteKiosk 9) will officially support Windows 10.
