Do you see the start dialog with the Start Once, Autostart and Customize buttons? If so, do you get the same behavior with both Start Once and Autostart. If you do not see that start dialog what is the last option you select before the problem occurs?

Here is a description of the procedure to login to the Windows SiteKiosk user account manually and change Windows settings: http://www.provisio.com/en-US/CustomerSupportCenter/ArticleDetails.aspx?ArticleID=5826

Today I am getting registry error "Access to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE". This is new. All I did was click on auto start.

Is that all the text of the error message says? It seems that for some reason your user account does not have permission to edit the registry. When going into Autostart mode, Windows auto login registry settings are made. SiteKiosk cannot run properly in Autostart if those settings cannot be made. Can you start SiteKiosk in Start Once mode? Are you logged in as a local administrator? Are you connected to a domain? What is your OS and IE version? Also please note that we have released a new version of SiteKiosk today.
