Support Request: Flash in Chrome browser engine and Enterprise Mode in IE engine.

Description

I'm facing two issues. Flash is not running when using the Chrome engine. I have installed the correct plugin version as noted here, but no luck:

The second issue is with the IE engine - it doesn't seem to be recognizing the environment wide Enterprise Mode we're using. We're running IE11 on Win7 64.

I need to get one or both of these working. Thanks

Hello,

For security reasons Adobe Flash support (npapi plug-in usage) was removed in Chromium (like in Chrome) per default.
Therefore Adobe Flash is not available anymore when using SiteKiosk 9 with “Chrome Browser” or “Chrome Fullscreen Browser Skin”

But it is still available with the IE based skins (it just needs to work in Internet Explorer with the installed Adobe Flash plug-in for the IE).

You can set the SiteKiosk Browser engine (IE Webbrowser Control) to work in another IE mode by editing the SiteKiosk configuration file.
Please see this FAQ: https://www.provisio.com/CustomerSupportCenter/ArticleDetails.aspx?ArticleID=9701

If you e.g. want to use IE9 mode change the line
<ie8-compatibility-view enabled="true"/>
To
<ie8-compatibility-view enabled="true" emulation-mode="9999" />
