Support Request: SiteKiosk Fails to Start

Description

Our kiosk setup is used for telehealth in one of our offices. Every few days we get the "SiteKiosk failed to start 10 times..." message and the device must be rebooted. The device is running the latest version of SiteKiosk as well as Chrome for the browser. Any guidance on why this is occurring is appreciated. Logfiles and config attached.

However, in your logfile, it seems that something on your system is trying to shut down the computer and in the process interrupts SiteKiosk. See WMI alerts WM_QUERYENDSESSION and WM_ENDSESSION in log below.

You may need to review the Event Viewer logs for Application and System to see which event is triggering the shutdown and how it is impacting SiteKiosk. Possibly the shutdown did not happen and the system did not respond fast enough?

If it is for normal Windows updates, it should proceed without an issue. I see that you are running SiteKiosk in another user than our restricted user. If you are on a domain and domain resources are not really required, you can either place SiteKiosk in another OU or take it off the domain for further testing.

Hello Andre,

Thanks for the quick response. I'm not seeing anything in Event Viewer within Windows that jumps out to me as a reason for the reboot... I am noticing that in the recent logs, the only time it reboots is when the used memory jumps above 23%. I am going to adjust my watchdog settings and see if that resolves the issue.
