Support Request: Publishing In SiteRemote

Hello,

Maybe I missed this in the documentation, but I currently have 10 licenses. It may be that I need different content on each machine I install the license on. I am currently using SiteCaster as this allows the most flexibility when it comes to the content we want to display. My question is, can I push out updates to individual machines with different projects? When I try to push out an update to one machine only it erases the other machine clean. What am I missing?

Sorry I just figured it out. I had to create a new project and push the update that way. I thought I could just do this with the one project, make a change and push that out to the other machines. Nope, I had to create a new project and then I could push it out to individual machines. I hope this helps somebody.

Hello,

This is by design and the latest state of the project / content in SiteCaster Editor will be distributed to all selected client machines upon republishing. Deselected machines will delete the content.

The simplest method would be to create a new project or make a copy of the existing project (possible on the SiteCaster Editor overview page).

Then you can assign the other project to the client where you want to display different content.
(If you want to display 10 different contents you would need 10 projects.)
