Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. The "SiteRemote Client" service is a required service for SiteKiosk Windows Classic and does not cause an issue for most environments. Is there an issue with this service in particular?

Best regards,
Andre.

Not particularly an issue with the service, but we elected to not utilize the component in our environment and were looking at ways to remove what's not necessary. The only actual issue we have with it is when uninstalling SiteKiosk, the SiteRemote service sticks around for a reboot or two, and then we're able to manually delete the components.

Hello,

When you uninstall SiteKiosk, this service ("SiteRemote Client" and others are) is removed at that moment. It does not linger or stay behind. If it does, then it could be a byproduct of your environment where domain restrictions or a security tool may prevent changes to your computer. Though, SiteKiosk installer should have prompted you for escalated privileges or Windows UAC. A restart right after will remove any remaining settings in registry.

Best regards,
Andre.
