Support Request: Transferring to a new computer


I would like to know if there is a way to migrate settings or configuration from one kiosk computer to a new kiosk computer.

Our old kiosk computer died and we just got a replacement. Want to know if there is an easy way to transfer the configuration/settings to a brand-new kiosk computer.

Thank you for your inquiry. If you have the files from the previous device backed up or can retrieve them from the faulty device, then you can install your right version for your license:

Please note that SiteKiosk 9.7 is no longer supported. If you are not certain what version your license covers, you can send an inquiry to our Sales Team by email: sales-america(at)

A simple configuration without any advanced settings, you can restore these files and folder:
- Configuration - C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\Config (*.skcfg files)
- Start Screen - C:\Users\Public\SiteKiosk\content (the entire folder)

Be sure to uninstall SiteKiosk from the faulty device, if you can still access Windows. By default, the folders above can still be found after uninstallation.
