Support Request: Repeated Unexpected Shutdown Messages


Repeatedly receiving unexpected Windows Shutdown messages. Had a site over the weekend that lost power. Afterwards, the machine running SiteKiosk Online client is sending the following repeated alert messages at least a couple of times per hour:


Unexpected Windows shutdown

The client-machine has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

Wondering if you can point me in the right direction resolving this issue? Also, cannot find the config (.skcfg) and logfiles (.txt) specified to send to you.

Thank you for your inquiry. For SiteKiosk Online, logs can be shared with us in Monitoring>>Device>>Logfiles>>Export. You can send a copy of the exported ZIP file to support-america(at) , referencing this post.

This issue was resolved by unregistering and reregistering SiteKiosk online.
