Hello,

There is now known problem like this and there is no integrated time delay within SiteKiosk.
Generally SiteKiosk does use the network connection of the Windows operating system.

- Is there also a delay for the display of the SiteKiosk skin if you e.g. open a new window or doers it concern to the display of web page itself?
- How many machines are running and how many machines affected by this issue?
- Can you describe how to reproduce this problem?

the window frame opens but there is a delay in displaying the page it is not a bandwith issue as when the page is displayed is shows the full downloaded screen there is at least 15-20 second delay but sometimes 5-6 mins sometimes it stay blank and the window is closed and reopened in order to gain access to website this is occuring on most of our pc units.

Hello,

What happens if you use the Internet Explore instead of the SiteKiosk Browser under the same circumstances?
(To use the IE within the SiteKiosk user account you have to set the System-Security-Manager to “Unprotected” and login as SiteKiosk user then - default user PW is provisio).

- How many machines are running and how many machines affected by this issue?
- Can you describe how to reproduce this problem?
- What information is given in the log file of SiteKiosk if this happen?

After some trial and error turning on and off differant proceses and funchions. When the content filter is turned off and the pc is restarted in auto start mode for sitekiosk there is no time delay. I then reactivated the content filter and the delay returned.while it is the nature of a content filter to delay access to any give website while it cross ref. the site with it's database the delay should not be prohibitive i.e. no longer than 3-4 seconds rather than 10-15+.
Is this senario something you can reproduce? While turning off the content filter solves the problem it makes a new one.Are there any known issues with the content filter in the vista compatable version of sitekiosk?
If it is indeed a speed problem with the filter it should be regarded as a bug as a workaround would be required in order for the unit to be functional to a high standard that sitekiosk is capable of.
