FAQ: Installing SiteKiosk and SiteCafe / MyPublicHotSpot on one system.

Description

In general, installing SiteKiosk and SiteCafe on the same system is not supported anymore (see below).

In case you still want to install SiteKiosk and SIteCafe on one system you need to use a SiteKiosk version older than 8.x and should follow the recommended installation sequence.

SiteCafe 1.5:
Make sure to install SiteCafe 1.5 first before installing SiteKiosk.

If you have already installed SiteCafe 1.5 after installing SiteKiosk (or you intend to do so), you should perform a repair installation of SiteKiosk
(-->Start-->Control Panel-->Add and Remove Programs-->SiteKiosk-->Change-->Repair SiteKiosk)

SiteCafe 2.x / MyPublicHotSpot:
1. Install SiteKiosk first
2. Register SiteKiosk before installing SiteCafe 2.x
3. Install SiteCafe 2.x but do not install SiteCafe’s TicketStation under any circumstances

Please note:
With SiteKiosk 8.x and higher it is not possible anymore to install SiteCafe on the same system.

You need to install SiteCafe on a separate system or go back to SiteKiosk 7.8
(in case you order the license you should note that you need a license for SiteKiosk 7.8):
