Support Request: Sensor Erro

Description

Hello, I received the attached error when working on one of the kiosk. Can this error occur when opening the case and powering on/off the device? Is this an error of concern?

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. The intended file you tried to share was not uploaded. There are multiple cases where you could get a sensor error, but the context is what matters. You can see this in the logs related to the web browser (feature not allowed), or you can get an alert related to hardware sensors like voltage, temperature readings, etc. Sometimes rebooting a device, where the timing of the CPU fan being off for a split second could generate an alert. Opening the case will not cause this unless the there is a noticed temperature change.

You can send the logs, image or email to support-america(at)sitekiosk.com that mentioned this sensor error, then we can review it further.
