Support Request: Enabling Narrator in Windows 11

Description

Under "SiteKiosk Configuration > Applications" how do I setup Narrator for Windows 11. I updated two of my kiosks to Windows 11 from Windows 10 and the script still works.

I am now configuring a third kiosk and had copied the configuration from one of the two already working kiosks, but the .exe files used in the path from that configuration do not exist. Is there a workaround for this? If not, how can I get a hold of the executable files to put into the correct folders in the path?

While in "Applications > Insert or Edit a Program", here is the path I have entered in all the Kiosks under "Command line (including complete path):"

"C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\Html\RunHelper.exe" "C\Windows\System32\Narrator.exe"

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. You can find a copy of the RunHelper file here if it's needed: https://devblog.provisio.com/post/2021/06/30/Using-the-RunHelper-Tool-to-Start-Applications.aspx

For the Narrator executable, it comes with every copy of Windows. Could it be that you are using a special image from your organization? In order to use SiteKiosk successfully, we do recommend using default Windows image from Microsoft. With that, you can see Narrator executable again. Please also complete any pending Windows Updates.

Best regards,
Andre.
