Went to install trial version while waiting for new license and install failed. Now site kiosk does not work period.

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. Assuming you are updating SiteKiosk or installing it new but in a domain environment, you can successfully install/update the software with this command in Command Prompt:

sitekiosk9.exe /V"INSTALLSYSTEMSECURITYUSER=\"\""


Say No to the Remote VNC feature. For new installs that need the local restricted user, use this command after install:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\SystemSecurity.exe" /install [/user:SiteKiosk /pass:MyPassword12!] 


Note: This step is not needed for off-domain environments with default Windows settings.
