Description

This guide explains how to prepare a Windows system image with the SiteKiosk Online Client preinstalled in Autostart Mode. After restoring the system from this image, the client will automatically log in to your SiteKiosk Online Team upon startup.

Procedure for Preparing the Windows System
1. Client installation and registration
Perform a regular installation of the SiteKiosk Online Client and register it with the SiteKiosk Online Server. This step is required to enable Autostart Mode.
2. Activate Autostart Mode without restart
Enable the client’s Autostart Mode, but do not restart the computer afterward.
3. Stop the client service
Stop the “SiteKiosk RemoteClient” service via the Windows Services Management console.
4. Delete the configuration file
Delete the configuration file used for the previous server registration:
C:\ProgramData\PROVISIO\SiteKiosk RemoteClient\RemoteClient.Local.config
5. Prepare for automatic registration
Leave the service stopped (it will restart automatically at the next system startup). Copy the file autoregistration.config - which you can generate in the team menu under Team > Auto Register Tool (https://sitekiosk.online/help/en/AutoRegisterTool.html) - to the following directory:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\SiteKiosk RemoteClient\
6. Create the system image
Shut down the system and create the system image.

Upon startup of any system restored from this image, the SiteKiosk Online Client will automatically register with the SiteKiosk Online Server and start in the enabled Autostart Mode.

Note:
When creating the "autoregistration.config" file (5), make sure to define an appropriate period for “Valid until.” Once the specified date has expired, it will no longer be possible to register the client using this file.
